HIRESOM High-Resolution Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer
HIRESOM is the world's first quadrupole mass spectrometer with a second stability region using the Mathieu equation. It was developed by combining the numerical analysis technology of Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute with ULVAC's many years of technological expertise (jointly-filed patent pending). HIRESOM makes previously impossible He and D2 separation measurements easy. First stability region measurements (the same measurements performed by conventional devices) can also be done at the touch of a single button.
- Switches between high-resolution mode and normal mode at the touch of a button.
Completely eliminates the need for time-consuming adjustments, enabling stable high-resolution, high-sensitivity measurements.
He and D2 separation measurements in wide (4-digit) range
Normal measurement mode also enables high-performance residual gas analysis and leak tests.
- Separation analysis of deuterium, helium
Nuclear power research and development
Tritium tracer analysis
Helium leak tests
Hydrogen gas isotope analysis
